Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Spamfilter service operated by LJPc.

Service

Spamfilter is a mail-relay and spam-classification service. We accept inbound mail addressed to domains you have verified, classify it, and relay the messages that pass to the delivery host you configure.

Credits and billing

  • Spamfilter runs on prepaid credits. Each credit costs EUR 0.01 excluding VAT.
  • A new account receives 100 free credits once its first domain is verified.
  • Relaying a clean mail costs 1 to 3 credits, depending on the filtering level you choose for the domain.
  • Mail that is caught as spam and held in quarantine costs nothing.
  • If a mail you have already received is later marked as spam, the credit charged for it is refunded.
  • When your balance runs out, filtering switches off and all mail (spam included) is delivered to you unfiltered until you top up. Mail is never held.
  • A positive credit balance is forfeit when you voluntarily delete your account.
  • Payments are processed by Mollie B.V.

Acceptable use

  • You may only filter mail for domains you own or have explicit authorization to act for.
  • You may not use Spamfilter to send unsolicited bulk mail, run open-relay services, or facilitate fraud.
  • You may not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or filter rules of the service.

Service level

We make a reasonable effort to keep the service available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The AI classifier can fail open during third-party outages; when that happens, mail is delivered without spam classification until the classifier recovers.

Liability

Spamfilter is provided as-is. Our liability is limited to direct damages up to the amount you paid for credits in the 30 days before the claim arose.

Termination

You can delete your account from the profile dashboard at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate the acceptable-use policy with reasonable notice.

Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes are settled in the competent court for the place of business of LJPc.
